It's a method of learning that's growing in popularity. It's not new, and more plain old common sense.
It's about growing skills, giving things a try -- and never saying the dreaded words "I can't".
Teacher James Anderson believes it's a small but significant change in the way we teach our children.
"We shift our praise from saying you are smart or you are mathematic and we praise the process, what you have done and the strategies you have used."
It's about "growing the mind" -- but is effort in the classroom enough to raise education standards?
