A Hamilton street was cordoned off this morning following a fatal police shooting in the suburb of Frankton.
Armed police have been at the scene all morning.
They, along with the CIB, were raiding a property at Grasslands Place, an industrial area of Frankton.
Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing, and police are still working out exactly what happened.
The shooting has been reported to the Independent Police Conduct Authority, which is standard procedure.
