The Telsa Model S is an electric driverless car which has an auto-pilot mode meaning you can drive with no hands - but is it safe enough?

Story hit the road in autopilot which sticks to the speed limit, stays approximately three car-lengths behind the vehicle in front and handles acceleration, deceleration and braking.

It will also move out of the way of an obstacle.

So, could these cars of the future be the future of New Zealand?
