The ‘Pokemon Go’ app is taking smartphones by storm.
The app allows players to see Pokemon through the window of their phone as if they were real, and users then try to catch them.
It's a concept that's been dubbed 'exer-gaming'.
‘Excer‐gaming’ is a hybrid of exercise and gaming. The idea is that the motivation gamers use to clock a level can be harnessed to make them get off the sofa as well.
