Our most successful Olympic team to date has arrived home from the 2016 games in Rio de Janiero, and we had teams at Auckland Airport and at the friends and family breakfast down at The Cloud.
Kiwi fans got the first chance to congratulate the team when about 170 members arrived at Auckland Airport on Wednesday morning, including medal winners from sailing, cycling, rowing, canoe kayak and the women's sevens team.
Then, a breakfast was held in their honour starting with friends and family event which was followed by a public event at 9am where 200 pupils from schools around Auckland will attend.
