Homelessness soared throughout 2016

Homelessness is on the rise in New Zealand, with more than 41,000 now reported homeless. On top of that, an increasing number of people are being forced to live in their cars and garages.

Is the Government doing enough to solve the problem? What more needs to be done?

Mangere Budgeting Services chief executive Darryl Evans and Dunedin Methodist Mission business development leader Jimmy McLauchlan spoke to Paul Henry about the problems more and more people are facing.
