Housing: the crisis that just keeps on keeping on.
New figures released by Labour show the average Auckland household is spending almost 50 percent more on housing than when National came to power.
That's an extra $140 per week spent on rent, mortgage repayments, interest, insurance and rates.
Nationwide, the jump in housing costs is nearly 40 percent or $90 a week.
So how much is too much and when does the emergency button need to be pressed?
