Homework has been banned in elementary schools in Marion County, Florida.
Research found that homework had little effect on the overall attainment of a student, so it's been dropped. Students will still be expected to engage in 20 minutes of reading per night.
Should we follow suit here and end homework in the pursuit of greater physical fitness?
