Poll: Do you support Jacinda Ardern spending extra taxpayer money to attend the Pacific Islands Forum separately?

Jacinda Ardern's baby Neve will cost the taxpayer about $100,000 this week.

Ms Ardern is heading to the Pacific Islands Forum tomorrow, but the Royal New Zealand Air Force will make an extra trip so the Prime Minister is not away too long from Neve.

She can't take Neve with her as she is too young to get vaccinations.

The media contingent left the country with Foreign Minister Winston Peters on the same jet.

Ms Ardern will miss the opening ceremony and only attend the leaders' meeting. This means she will only be away from Neve for around 36 hours.
