New Zealand’s sharemarket tumbled yesterday in one of the biggest daily drops that traders have ever seen.
It follows a slide on Wall Street, which was largely due to the U.S Federal Reserve’s track for higher interest rates pushing yields on U.S government bonds higher.
It comes as Infometrics' latest forecast highlights a plethora of risks that could lead to disappointing economic growth outcomes for NZ during 2019 and 2020.
