Tiny houses the key to beating housing market woes

Housing prices in New Zealand are still sky high, and many first time buyers just won't make it into the market.

Over the next two years, we need to build 40,000 houses a year but it's likely only 30,000 will be built per year.

This supply deficit is just making houses more expensive.

Some people are throwing out their dreams of owning a normal house, and looking to Tiny Homes as an alternative.

Bryce Langston has just written a book on Tiny Homes and spoke to The AM Show about the money and space-saving idea.
