Two weeks ago a shocking letter was sent to Nicky Stevens' family, which raised questions around the DHB's refusal to accept any accountability for his death.
In 2015, Nicky Stevens died by suicide after walking out of a Hamilton mental health facility where he was under compulsory care.
Today, Mr Stevens' family will make a presentation during the public section of the DHB meeting.
Mr Stevens' father, Dave Macpherson, spoke to The AM Show.
