Going to war is one of the largest sacrifices a person make, but in New Zealand, little has been done to help care for our returning soldiers. Until now.
A brand new initiative called Post Transition has set its sights on helping Kiwi heroes assimilate back into society.
The organisation, founded by Former SAS soldier and Victoria Cross recipient, Willie Apiata, and his partner Jen Martin was created to fill the void so many servicemen and women feel when they leave the New Zealand Defence Force.
