Imagine you're watching the news when a CCTV clip of a crime comes on... as you watch, you notice the alleged perpetrator has your face.
You didn't commit the crime, you're certain someone has meddled with the footage, but the court doesn't see it like that.
Well, thanks to ever-improving technology, a case like this might not be so far-fetched.
