Dry July kicks off on Monday where people can challenge themselves to go alcohol-free for a month.
People can do it for personal reasons or to raise money for people with cancer.
Funds raised for Dry July will benefit Look Good Feel Better, a charity that provides free, community-based programmes for any person, facing any cancer, at any time.
The challenge also promotes people to try it and see how they feel by the end of it.
