Reports this week that the government is considering banning three hugely popular cars from import into New Zealand got the feedback flowing.
Under the plan, pre-2016 Suzuki Swifts, pre-2008 Toyota Corollas and any Mazda Demio would be prevented from entering the New Zealand fleet, in a move based on these vehicles ANCAP ratings.
But what are ANCAP ratings? And how are they calculated?
