Kākāpō numbers at record high

Incredible news for the very at risk kākāpō, the population has increased 70 percent in the last three-and-a-half years due to two bumper breeding systems. 

But the celebrating can't last too long.

Despite the population increase, kākāpō are still critically endangered.
