Backstory: Paul Goldsmith

How well do we really know our politicians and the personal values and experiences they bring to decisions that affect us all?

Newshub Nation's series 'Backstory' goes behind the scenes, into the lives and homes of our political leaders.

Paul Goldsmith is mainly known as the National MP who played second fiddle in the seat of Epsom, to keep the ACT party in parliament.

However, he's also a concert pianist, a former historian and novelist who once worked for the Waitangi Tribunal.

Newshub Nation went to visit his Remuera home in Auckland to hear his Backstory.
