There are currently 102 COVID-19 cases in New Zealand, and the Ministry of Health warns community transmission is likely for two of them.
As a result, the COVID-19 alert level has been raised to level 3 and will rise to level 4 at midnight on Wednesday.
That means New Zealand is essentially going into lockdown for the next four weeks. The new border controls will start at the front door, and the rules are very clear: stay at home and stop all interaction with others outside of your own household.
