Over the weekend, a fifth case of the coronavirus COVID-19 was confirmed in New Zealand.
One of the cases is a woman in her 70s who was earlier in hospital with a respiratory illness. She recovered, but then was readmitted to North Shore Hospital with an unrelated condition.
A number of North Shore Hospital staff involved in the woman's treatment in late February have been stood down as a precautionary measure.
