As we get closer to this year's election in September, we also inch towards voting on the Cannabis Legislation and Control Bill.
Earlier this month The AM Show spoke to former police detective Tim McKinnel about a campaign to vote 'yes' on the bill and this morning we'll hear from the other side.
An alliance of community organisations and leaders have formed Smart Approaches To Marijuana NZ (SAM-NZ), and will work together to oppose any attempt to legalise cannabis in New Zealand in the upcoming referendum.
