Troy Kingi has a new album coming out with an interestingly dark tale behind it.
The Silver Scroll nominated artist's father disappeared travelling from Rotorua to Auckland and was never heard from again.
Kingi found an old cassette tape, a seemingly live album by "Freddie Cesar." Unable to find any information on who Freddie Cesar was, it felt fitting to sample this cassette whilst writing a record about his father.
The album is called "The Ghost of Freddie Cesar," and has its release on September 11.
