NZ Election 2020: Debbie Ngarewa-Packer's plan to return the Māori Party to parliament

If the Māori Party wants to make it back to Parliament they'll likely have to win a Māori seat.

Labour swept all seven at the last election. But Māori Party co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer reckons she can take Te Tai Hauāuru.

She's tremendously popular in Taranaki which lies at the centre of the heartland seat.

But sitting MP Adrian Rurawhe has the backing of Ratana.
