William Wood and Luke Wijohn are our youngest candidates for Parliament in the 2020 General Election.
Luke is the youngest candidate in the general election, having turned 18 in February. The Green Party has selected him to go up against Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in the Mt Albert electorate in central Auckland.
William Wood was just 17 when he was selected as National’s candidate for Palmerston North, beating out several other older people for the role, including current list MP Jo Hayes.
