Question of the Day: Should MPs have to wear ties in Parliament?

Speaker of the House Trevor Mallard says ties will no longer be considered required as part of “appropriate business attire” for male MPs.

It comes just days after a dress code stoush saw Māori Party co-leader Rawiri Waititi kicked out of the House for not wearing a tie.
