What's so hard about a simple 'please' and 'thank you'?
Once upon a time there was a pretty high standard when it came to the way you spoke and treated others, and while it's not expected you stand when a lady enters a room, being courteous towards others makes people more likeable and makes it easier to start new relationships.
Are old fashioned, good manners going extinct?
