Question of the Day: Is it OK to take food to a cafe or restaurant?

It's not easy to please everyone when it comes to food and sometimes that means packing something from home. 

However, this week, staff at a vegan cafe came under fire when they refused to let a child eat a homemade ham sandwich on site. 

The cafe worker at the centre of the clash took to Reddit to ask if they were wrong for asking the family not to consume meat in the venue.

Is it OK to take food to a cafe or restaurant?
