The civils rights activist who is a grandson of Ku Klux Klan members

One man's momentous fight for civil rights has been turned into a film. 

Son of the South is based on the story of Bob Zellner, who despite having family members in the Ku Klux Klan, decided to join the civil rights movement. 

He was severely beaten on a number of occasions and jailed 18 times - but that didn't stop him. 

He spoke to The AM Show.
