This week proposed hate speech laws have sparked some heated political opinion.

The National Party is vowing to repeal them should they get back into power.

Newshub's Jenna Lynch sat down with National Party's Justice spokesperson Simon Bridges and asked, why? She also spoke to him about whether leader Judith Collins is a "Karen" and Todd Muller's recently announced retirement.
