Comedian showers Sepp Blatter with fake cash

On a day when FIFA announced a series of plans for reform – including the date for a presidential election – president Sepp Blatter has been targeted by a British comedian.

Speaking for the first time since announcing his intention to quit, Blatter was upstaged by a man claiming to be a delegate for North Korea's 2026 World Cup bid.

Comedian Simon Brodkin showered Blatter in fake bank notes before he was ushered away by security and Swiss police.

As FIFA continues to grapple with the biggest scandal in its history, it has announced it will set up an 11-strong taskforce for reform.

Critics have called for former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to lead the taskforce.
