Ryan Fox is getting a rev-up from his famous father ahead of the first round of the British Open at St Andrews tonight.
The young Aucklander is feeling the nerves at the 'home of golf' but dad Grant Fox had some sage advice.
"He said 'are you feeling anxious?' and I said, 'a little bit' and he said, 'in the All Blacks, you walk towards it. You want that feeling, if you don't get that nervous, excited, anxious feeling, you shouldn't be there'," Fox said.
Danny Lee has also been out on course today, trying to adjust his precision game to the exposed links course after his stunning fortnight on the PGA Tour.
