Nine new caps have been named in the Maori All Blacks team to play Fiji in Suva on Saturday.
Included in the new caps are Ioane brothers, Akira and Rieko, and Tawera Kerr-Barlow who is returning from a long injury break.
Chiefs back Damian McKenzie will also make his debut at fullback, playing alongside brother and Chiefs teammate Marty.
Coach Colin Cooper said the short assembly time had been challenging for the squad, but he was pleased with how quickly the players had gelled as a unit.
"This squad has developed a great spirit very quickly and even though we had a long journey to Suva, we're in good shape," Cooper said.
"We're really looking forward to training today and adapting to the hotter conditions here."
The team also feature six players from the Hurricanes and Highlanders who were involved in last weekend's Super Rugby final.
"There are players who have come out of the Super Rugby finals series in great nick and those who have had a bit more of a layoff so I think that will work well for us."
