Hayden Paddon describes Rally Finland as one of his favourite WRC rounds.
In many ways it's a home away from home, for starters he's had more WRC experience there and at both Rally New Zealand or Australia, having competed there five times before.
For his co-driver John Kennard it really is a home away from as his wife Satu is Finnish, which means they spend a large part of their year in the rally mad country.
This weekend's event will be Kennard's 50th WRC start and also his 30 year anniversary since his first WRC rally, which was Rally Finland, in 1985.
Expected rain could make the going tough for Hyundai's kiwi duo; with them starting back in 8th spot the roads could be quite cut up. Still he's targeting a third straight top five finish.
Key to a good result in Finland, is showing no fear on the famous 'yumps', which are a crowd favourite, and either a star maker or car breaker for the drivers.
Paddon described what it's like 'Flying in Finland.'
