All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has promised Samoa they will be back sooner rather than later.
The team flew out of Apia today after the historic Test, which was a huge success, with Hansen happy they got through the game with no serious injuries.
"We expected one or two more hiccups and we didn't get them," he says. "Everything was pretty much run as they said they were going to run it."
As the All Blacks build towards this year's Rugby World Cup, the game was an important first step.
"We badly needed the game," says Hansen. "We had a number of athletes that had been out for longer than four weeks without football – someone like [Israel Dagg] who has only played three games all year."
