A football commentator has sparked rumours Tottenham Hotspur's breakout star Harry Kane could be on his way to Manchester United.
During a broadcast of Tottenham's pre-season friendly against AC Milan, a Premier Sports commentator said Kane was due to play, but pulled out of the squad after Tottenham received a "huge offer" from Manchester United.
"Harry Kane was planning to be in the squad," the commentator said.
"He's not here this afternoon – he was yesterday.
"There are talks at the moment that there has been a huge offer from Manchester United."
After losing van Persie and Falcao in the off-season, Manchester United are on the look out for another striking option.
Tottenham open their English Premier League season against Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 8 (NZT).
