The Silver Ferns arrived back in New Zealand this afternoon, dejected but not disgraced by their World Cup final loss.
For the third World Cup in a row the Australian Diamonds got the better of the Ferns in the final, but many didn't even expect the new-look Kiwi side to make it that far.
Players and coaches are taking time to absorb the defeat before making any decisions on possible retirements.
