England beat Australia by eight wickets overnight, completing a remarkable turn-around from the last test at Lord's to take a 2-1 lead in the Ashes.
Australia had added a further 97 runs in the first two sessions of day three to reach a respectable total of 265, setting England a target of 121 for victory.
That target might have been a challenge for England, who lost Alastair Cook for just seven before Ian Bell took charge with 65 not out.
England's crushing victory was a far cry from their abject performance in the second test, when they succumbed to a 405-run hiding at Lord's.
Australia will look to bounce back from this loss in the fourth test, which starts next Thursday at Trent Bridge.
