Auckland's East City under-15 Girls made their way to the final of the World Futsal Championships in the United States overnight.
After trailing 2-0 at the halfway point of their crunch semi-final, East City came back to win 3-2 – with the winning goal coming just seconds before the final whistle.
But that astonishing victory was eclipsed by one moment of magic during their pool match, as a long ball forward from the East City goalkeeper fooled the opposition's keeper before nestling in the top corner.
