The Silver Ferns head to Sydney this afternoon with mixed emotions ahead of the Netball World Cup.
They were farewelled by Viscount school this morning with a mighty haka.
Their campaign gets underway against Barbados on Friday, followed by Trinidad and Tabago a day later.
But the first real test will come against Australia on Sunday - who they haven't beaten in their last 9 attempts.
The Ferns will have dinner with the Bulldogs tonight -- NRL's 2014 runners up -- in the hope of gaining some inspiration.
