Kiwi mountain biker Anton Cooper is now eyeing up Olympic gold to go with his under-23 and junior world titles.

The 21-year-old has achieved success in a sport where his fellow countrymen have traditionally struggled.

Cooper has arrived home from the World Champs with his latest rainbow jersey, confident he will be standing on the podium in Rio next year.

"I put my heart and soul into this," he says. "It's what I've trained for my whole life."

The Olympic cross-country course will be similar to the one Cooper conquered in Glasgow to win the Commonwealth gold, and in three weeks he will fly out to Rio to test it for himself.
