World Cup hosts England are in danger of not making it out of the pool stages after Wales pipped them in a Twickenham thriller.
England were the strong favourites as Wales have been plagued by injuries.
But English fans in London who thought they were in for a party were mistaken. Cardiff is where it was at, and the atmosphere was incredible – strangers hugging, ecstatic fans who love nothing better than beating the English.
It may go down as Wales' greatest-ever win in their neighbours' backyard. With 20 minutes to go, a try from Gareth Davies evened the scores.
Welsh fans around the world went into a frenzy and Cardiff exploded.
English supporters unlucky enough to be outnumbered in Welsh bars were biting down their nails as the minutes ticked away.
Then came the penalty kick that would make Dan Biggar a national hero.
Even England's coach, Stuart Lancaster, was full of praise for the Welsh performance.
"Obviously first of all, well done to Wales – great game of rugby – two very competitive sides and obviously well done to them for getting the win."
It's said that Welshmen pray each night, "Lord, if we've got to get beat, let it not ever be by England."
Wales's coach, Warren Gatland, is a Kiwi, but he seemed to share that sentiment outside with former Scottish winger Kenny Logan.
"Yeah we were lucky enough. We won."
The result hinged on England's decision to go for a last-gasp try to win when a penalty would have earned a draw.
And that's why this time it was the dragon that slayed Saint George.
