Hayden Paddon is thinking big ahead of this weekend's Rally Australia with a simple goal: to score his first ever World Rally Championship victory.
Twelve months ago Rally Australia was a turning point in Paddon's WRC career.
His most competitive drive of the season secured sixth place, and went a long way to locking in another year with the Hyundai team.
"Naturally you always want to win, but to be fair this is the best chance of doing that this year," Paddon says.
Hyundai are so confident of a good result from the Kiwi, they have swapped him into the team's top car.
It's an added pressure on the 28-year-old, who is now in the midst of negotiating a drive for new year – but don't expect him to take a cautious approach.
