SBW’s new All Black bestie

Sonny Bill Williams

All Blacks midfielder Sonny Bill Williams has a new favourite player – Nehe Milner-Skudder.

The Hurricanes wing has been a revelation this year at Super Rugby and Test level. Such has been his form that All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said he couldn’t be left out of the 31 for the World Cup next month.

Williams meanwhile, was strong against Argentina in Christchurch, with his trademark offloads working a treat; though was decidedly off his game against the Wallabies in Sydney.

Uncharacteristically, Williams kicked twice before being subbed with an injury.

He faces strong competition in the midfield from Ma’a Nonu, Conrad Smith and Malakai Fekitoa though potentially he could be used on the wing in some of the easy games, against Namibia on September 24, or Georgia on October 2.
