South Sydney Rabbitohs pair Dylan Walker and Aaron Gray have been rushed to hospital.
Australia's Channel 9 News reports that Ambulance NSW confirmed the duo were taken to St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney.
The pair were reportedly in a serious condition but have since been upgraded to stable and remain in hospital.
It's believed that Walker suffered an adverse reaction to pain relief drugs after recent surgery.
It remains uncertain how Gray ended up in hospital, but his father confirmed to 9NEWS that he was taken to hospital.
The Rabbitohs said in a statement both players had undergone recent surgery.
"The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed that two of its players, Dylan Walker and Aaron Gray, were admitted to hospital this morning, and both are in a stable condition," the club said in a statement.
"Both players had post season surgery last week, following the end of the club's season, in preparation for pre-season training to commence later this year.
"The club is keeping abreast of the situation and will not be making any further comment at this stage."
Gray recently re-signed with the Rabbitohs until 2017, while Walker was a member of the 2014 premiership winning team and has represented Australia.
The defending NRL champions crashed out of the finals last weekend after losing to the Cronulla Sharks.
