As the All Blacks find their feet in Cardiff after their extended stay in London, they have had a noisy introduction to Wales.
The home country's epic win over England at Twickenham had supporters celebrating most of the night and early morning, making sleep a bit difficult to get.
"I couldn't get to sleep. People were just singing 'Wales! Wales!'," Mealamu laughed at New Zealand's first press conference in Cardiff.
"It was a good game to watch, I thoroughly enjoyed it."
Meanwhile, Julian Savea said the imminent return of Waisake Naholo means everyone has to step up their game.
