Kiwi Paul Lasike has made his mark for the Arizona Cardinals, catching a touchdown in their final preseason game against the Denver Broncos.
Lasike, who lined up at fullback, ran a wheel route and managed to hang on to a pass from quarterback Phillip Sims for the four-yard touchdown.
The Auckland-born NFL hopeful is looking to impress and make the Cardinals final 53-man roster, which is announced on Sunday (NZT).
Lasike has impressed Cardinals' coaches with his ruthless blocking from and physical play on the field.
A rugby convert, he started playing American football in college at Brigham Young University in 2012.
Surviving the final cut would round out the perfect week for Lasike, after his daughter was born earlier this week.
