Former All Blacks winger Zac Guildford's will play for the Waratahs next year but his first challenge will be in the ring rather than on the wing.
He faces a long road ahead to realise his dream of pulling on the black jersey again, but The Bachelor's Art Green is standing in his way when they take each other on in Fight for lLfe.
The two probably won't get lost in each other's eyes, but they might feel a little lost when they pull on the gloves.
"No fight experience in the ring, been cleaned up a few times on the street but that's about it," Guilford laughed
Meanwhile Art Green is "significantly worried" about his face.
But Guildford's not worried about where he'll be playing Super Rugby next season
"[It] gives me a chance to play for a good mate in [Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson] and give me a chance to prove a few people wrong and prove to myself I can still play at the top level," Guildford said.
Yes, unlike his boxing opponent who had 20 options to choose from, Guildford hasn't exactly been fighting off potential suitors with the Waratahs making the only offer.
There was no interest from any Kiwi franchise in the 10-Test All Black whose reputation unfortunately goes before him.
But the 26-year-old is looking to put his troubles behind him and start a new chapter in Sydney
"I still got what it takes to be one of the best wingers in Super Rugby so I'm excited."
"[I'm] used to being rejected mate so it doesn't hurt."
His fight to get back in the black jersey starts now.
