Auckland have made only one change to their team for the ITM Cup Premiership final against Canterbury at AMI Stadium.
Vince Aso has been promoted from the bench to centre after an impressive cameo against Tasman in the semifinal, while Charles Piutau moves to fullback and Lolagi Visinia returns to the bench.
"Vince was outstanding when he came on last week so we have picked that on form. In terms of Charles at fullback; it is the position he feels most comfortable in and has a lot of experience there," Auckland coach Paul Feeney said.
"Lolagi has been out for a few weeks, once again, he’s very experienced at this level so he comes in on the bench.
"I've gone for experience in the cauldron of AMI Stadium."
Auckland are searching for the first provincial title since 2007, and are keen to avenge a narrow defeat to Canterbury at Eden Park earlier this year.
"We lost by six points to Canterbury. It was tight game and we were still in it in the last minute.
"We took a lot of learnings about how we can play from that match. When you look back you always say losses are good for you, and that was good for us, it made us look at what we could do better."
"I'm not worried about recent years because this is a different group. In recent years we have been poor away from home, this year, we've only lost one away game. If we play to our potential on Saturday there is no reason why we can’t win the championship."
