Team rating:
Never in doubt! Dominating field position thanks to Dan Carter, the All Blacks were disciplined and accurate. One to go – and that's the one that counts. A well-deserved 8 out of 10 for the All Blacks based on this morning's performance.
Players:
Ben Smith: 9 – He has sent the Boks on a bender. Superb in the air.
Nehe Milner-Skudder: 6 – He always threatened without being his usual electric self.
Julian Savea: 6 – The bus was mostly kept at the station by a determined Bok defence. But most of the action was closer in.
Conrad Smith: 7 – The General isn't flashy but typical in your face pressure and delivery.
Ma'a Nonu: 8 – Put the try on before being subbed. Strong, but we've come to expect that.
Dan Carter: 8 – Excellent tactical kicking. A crucial drop-goal. Loving his work.
Aaron Smith: 8 – He never looks flustered and his team mates feed of his energy.
Kieran Read: 6 – He seemed as though he was consumed by the tightness of the contest. He had a few issues at scrum-time but was solid without being his pre-2014 presence.
Jerome Kaino: 9 – He should never have been sin-binned. Brilliant try. The rock. Why was he subbed?
Richie McCaw: 8 – Crucial turnover or two for the skipper. Lovely pop pass for Kaino try.
Sam Whitelock: 9 – He took the crucial lineout steal. That was a game changing moment that took the stuffing out of the Boks. Huge work rate.
Brodie Retallick: 8 – Forming one of the great AB locking partnerships. V8 motor and a body that hurts opponents.
Owen Franks: 7 – The scrums were a bit of a mixed bag, and not a great day for front rowers to stand out.
Dane Coles: 7 – Not surprisingly, he had less license to roam and threaten against this lot. Crucially found his line out targets.
Joe Moody: 6 – He was solid enough without looking like a Woodcock. Gave away one silly penalty.
Influential substitutes:
Sonny Bill Williams: 8 – Worth his weight in gold, this guy. The ultimate super-sub. Consummate professional who fits in seamlessly.
Beauden Barrett: 8 – He had a nice finish and some classy touches.
