Torrential rain forced qualifying for the potentially world title-deciding US Grand Prix to be postponed after a day of misery at the storm-battered Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
"Qualifying is officially delayed until Sunday morning at 9AM. #USGP#COTA#F1," tweeted the organisers.
Qualifying will start at 9am local time (1am AEDT Monday) with the race set for 2pm local time (6am AEDT) on Sunday.
Britain's Lewis Hamilton, who had been the fastest driver in practice earlier Saturday, can wrap up a third world title in Sunday's race.
